We slept reasonably well last night at the Royal Pavilion in Hua Hin.
The breakfast is, just like yesterday, reasonable, Thai dishes and bread with jam as a topping. There is also plenty of fruit and vegetables and of course eggs. Unfortunately, just like yesterday, the coffee is not that great.

Today we go back to the family in Lat Krabang. We expect it to be a quiet ride, the coming weekend is Christmas and therefore we expect there to be little traffic towards Bangkok, but the other way around, out of Bangkok.

Because of our expectations, we go for an hour's massage at Royal Thai Massage after checking out, and Pia also buys a net to dry food in the sun. And we go to the market and buy shrimps and fresh (we think) fish. We left the car at the hotel.

We are back at the hotel at twelve o'clock and we drive away. We notice that, just like yesterday, there is still a lot of wind and that the temperature is low, around 25º C. It is also not as quiet as we expected, there is a lot of truck traffic, but we can still drive quite well until Thanon Rama II. This is different at Thanon Rama II, with more and more freight traffic and to make matters worse, a row of 20 or 30 buses with police escort, taking up the rightmost lane.
The last part of Thanon Rama II, where the skytrain is being built, is often at walking pace.
It is also very busy on the toll road, Thanon Kanchanaphisek.

At half past five, 2 hours later than we expected, we drive into Thanon On-nut in Lat Krabang. We stop at the new Villa Market to do some shopping, beer and wine, but also yogurt.
If we drive further we get into traffic jams at Thanon On-nut and Thanon Latkrabang and near the KMITL. We'll are home at six o'clock.
We are tired and don't feel like going out to eat. Pia fries one of the fish she bought, which turns out not to be fresh, we eat it anyway.
Gunn comes to ask if we would like to go to Phetchabun tomorrow, but Tom especially doesn't feel like doing that, it means driving a few hours there and driving a few hours back, and even if someone else is driving, it is another day in the car.
